It is a self-sufficient university in terms of finances and administration. The language of instruction at Istanbul Arel University is typically English. Arel University is divided into two campuses, one of which is located in Sefaköy. On this campus, vocational education is provided. It is situated on Istanbul's main thoroughfare, the E-5 motorway. At the Tepekent Campus, the faculties provide a four-year education. And there are 25 university villas approximately 500 meters from campus that are exclusively for student housing where 300 students can be accommodated in 320 m² student villas.

Because of the Tepekent campus's distance from Istanbul's center, a free transportation service is provided from the Beylikdüzü metrobus station to the Tepekent campus from 08.30 to 12.30 in the morning, as well as from the Beylikdüzü campus to the last station of the Beylikdüzü metrobus from 12.45 to 18.00.

By resolution of the Istanbul Arel University Council on December 15, 2011, the ARELUZEM Distance Learning Center was created. Students have been admitted into graduate programs in Business Administration (without thesis), Management and Administration (without thesis), and Health Institutions Management (without thesis).

2- Beykent University (Beykent Üniversitesi)

Beykent University is one of the most powerful universities in Turkey. It was created in 1997 by Adam Çelik, who wanted the pupils of this university to have an educational level and scientific abilities that would represent Turkey throughout the world. This university, which has 30,000 undergraduate students and 65,000 graduate students, includes 10 faculties and 12 research centers, allowing students to study in Turkish, English, and Russian, as well as offering remote education.

3- Fatih University (Fatih Üniversitesi)

Established by The Turkish Health and Therapy Foundation on January 18, 1996, Fatih University was one of Büyükçekmece's founding universities until it was closed on July 23, 2016, by order during a state of emergency. Its students were moved to other Istanbul universities. The university taught in both English and Turkish, and provided elective language courses in German, French, Russian, and Spanish.
