Turkish Airlines announced a significant increase in passenger numbers during January 2025, recording a growth of 8.2% compared to the same period last year, reaching a total of 6.8 million passengers.
According to Turkey Urgent, citing Turkish media, the number of international passengers rose by 8.5%, reaching 2.8 million travelers, highlighting the growing demand for flights to and from Turkey. Additionally, the seat occupancy rate increased to 82.4%, showcasing the strong performance of the national carrier.
This growth in Turkey’s aviation sector reinforces its position as a major business and investment hub, as enhanced air transport infrastructure continues to attract real estate investors looking to capitalize on promising opportunities in the Turkish market.
