The Turkish Ministry of Transport has announced significant achievements in transportation and infrastructure for 2024, including the launch of the first communications satellite "Turksat 6A" and the opening of new metro projects. Minister of Transport Uraloğlu revealed that a new system to improve aircraft mobility at Istanbul Airport is set to launch on April 17th.
This system aims to strengthen Istanbul Airport’s position as a global aviation hub, marking a groundbreaking advancement in the aviation sector.
Looking forward to 2025, the ministry outlined ambitious goals, such as expanding the dual road network to 30,018 kilometers and initiating massive infrastructure projects.
These initiatives align with Turkey’s comprehensive plan to expand the transportation sector, enhancing the national economy and increasing the country’s capacity to accommodate air and land traffic.
