The 2025 Henley Passport Index revealed the world’s strongest passports, based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Singapore secured the top spot, allowing visa-free access to 195 countries, while Japan ranked second with access to 193 destinations.
The Turkish passport made a significant improvement, climbing six places from last year to rank 46th globally. It now offers visa-free access to 116 countries, presenting an attractive advantage for investors and residents considering Turkey as their new destination.
Meanwhile, several European nations, including France, Germany, and Italy, dropped to third place, with visa-free access to only 192 destinations.
