Turkish exports to Africa saw a significant increase in January, reaching $1.5 billion, with North African countries claiming 67% of the total exports to the continent, amounting to $1 billion.
Turkey’s exports to Africa grew by 7.1%, while exports to North Africa surged by 12.7%.
Egypt led the list of top importers from Turkey with $256.3 million, followed by Morocco with $225.3 million, and Libya with $186.5 million.
Among the top exported sectors, chemical products ranked first with $178.7 million in exports.
This growth strengthens opportunities for Arab investors looking to benefit from Turkey’s expanding economy and its strong trade ties with Africa.
