Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that Turkey now ranks first in Europe and eighth globally in agricultural production, strengthening its position as a prime investment destination in various sectors, including real estate.
Speaking at a Ramadan iftar banquet for farmers at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, Erdoğan highlighted that Turkey produces 206 types of agricultural products and enjoys self-sufficiency in most of them. This agricultural strength significantly contributes to the attractiveness of real estate investments in rural and agricultural areas.
Erdoğan also noted that Turkey ranks fourth globally in fruit and vegetable production and first in Europe in beef production, while also leading Europe in honey production. These advancements create new opportunities for real estate investment, particularly in cities experiencing growth in the agricultural and food industries.
With its strong agricultural foundation, Turkey offers lucrative opportunities for investors in farmland and rural real estate, making it an ideal destination for those looking to invest in Turkey’s real estate sector.
