Trabzon, the enchanting city in northern Turkey, has emerged as a top destination for Arab tourists and investors, especially from the Gulf countries. According to a report by the Directorate of Culture and Tourism in Trabzon, the city welcomed 1,296,640 tourists during the first 11 months of the year, including 700,480 international visitors. Saudis topped the list with 344,999 visitors, marking a new record.
The number of Gulf tourists reached 539,950, a 4% increase compared to last year, further solidifying Trabzon's status as one of Turkey's most sought-after destinations for tourism and investment. The city's tourism infrastructure has seen remarkable growth, with a 20% increase in certified establishments and a 67% rise in hotel rooms compared to last year.
Trabzon is not just a tourist hotspot but also a promising investment opportunity, with growing demand for luxury properties and holiday homes, reflecting Arab investors' interest in the city's potential.
