Free Public Transportation in Türkiye on May 1st and 19th

In a move to enhance ease of travel for residents and visitors, the Turkish government — according to the Official Gazette signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan — announced that public transportation will be free on May 1st and May 19th across select major lines.

This free service is provided to celebrate Labor and Solidarity Day on May 1st and Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day on May 19th.

The free lines include Başkentray, Marmaray, İZBAN, Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme railway line, and the Gayrettepe–Istanbul Airport–Arnavutköy metro line.

This initiative offers investors and visitors an excellent opportunity to explore Türkiye, especially those interested in real estate investment in Türkiye or looking to buy property in Istanbul and other major cities.
