As part of efforts to enhance financial transactions in Turkey, banks operating in Turkey have increased the daily withdrawal limits from ATMs starting January 1, 2025.
The withdrawal limit has been raised from 10,000 Turkish Lira to 15,000 Turkish Lira in some banks, and to 20,000 Turkish Lira in others.
Withdrawals Using QR Codes: Banks have also increased the maximum withdrawal limit using mobile banking applications and QR codes. Customers can now withdraw up to 30,000 Turkish Lira using a combination of bank cards and QR code transactions.
Additionally, banks have reduced the use of small denomination banknotes in ATMs. Notes of 10 and 20 Turkish Lira have been removed, and some ATMs now only dispense 200 Turkish Lira notes.
