The Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has announced a strategic project to connect Istanbul Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport via a high-speed train.
In a statement, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu revealed that the ministry plans to launch the project's tender at the beginning of 2025. The new line will span approximately 120 kilometers, starting from Gebze, passing through Sabiha Gökçen Airport, crossing the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, and reaching Istanbul Airport and the Çatalca area.
This ambitious initiative aims to enhance connectivity between Istanbul's key infrastructure hubs, making the city an even more attractive destination for Arab and international investors.
